Virgin Hyperloop Pre-IPO

Virgin Hyperloop, formerly Hyperloop Technologies, Hyperloop One and Virgin Hyperloop One, is a private American transportation technology company that strives to make Elon Musk’s dream of high-speed technology come into reality. It is the proposed fifth mode of passenger and freight transportation which was designed as a vacuum train, a system of tubes with low air pressure through which a pod may travel without friction.

It was founded on June 1, 2014 by Shervin Pishevar, Brogan Bambrogan and Josh Giegel with headquarters located in Los Angeles California United States.  The vactrain concept was first proposed in 1904 by Robert Goddart but the version of vacuum train called Hyperloop was released by a joint team from Tesla and SpaceX.

According to the concept, Hyperloop can shoot you in a pod through a vacuum at 700 mph. Aside from being faster than any other mode of transportation, Hyperloop is also said to be safer, lower cost, immune to weather, sustainably self-powering, not disruptive to those along the route, more convenient, and resistant to earthquakes.

No wonder why this concept generated widespread attention and enthusiasm from investors! Hyperloop Technology had been Forbes magazine’s cover on its February 2015 issue, and that dragged more attention to new investors. As of 2020, Virgin Hyperloop currently has 500 employees and 70 investors.

Why Invest in Virgin Hyperloop Stocks?

Virgin Hyperloop’s current market valuation is  £512 million. You may still be skeptical about investing in this company. Maybe because you are still questioning human ability to withstand hyperloop acceleration, which is normal. Back then, many doubted if a heavy aircraft could ever fly, but it did. And as mentioned above, their successful drive on their 500-meter test track has proven Hyperloop’s technology.

Additionally, Virgin Hyperloop had agreements and talks of potential use of their technology in other countries - namely Russia, Finland, China and India. While it's true that investing in a company that hasn't generated revenues is risky.

On the other hand, it’s success will revolutionize passenger and freight transportation markets. In that time, Virgin Hyperloop will secure a solid share of the potential market and increase their capitalization tenfold. It is clear then, it would be the wisest decision to make, to invest in what could become the transport mode of tomorrow.
